International Rob B gives us a little about his new
HOT single "Lead On"
Q 1. What motivated you to write the single “Lead On” and how did you decide on the title?
A. I like to write from personal experiences, sometime ago I went through this similar experience and it was one that made me grow as a person. I wanted a title that was str8 forward but also allowed you to take it where ever you wanted to take it.
Q. 2. What’s the ultimate message behind the track “Lead On”?
A. To trust you heart, go with whatever seems right to you, a lot of the times we make decisions off of what we may think is right at the time and not right for the future.
Q. 3. Would you consider “Lead On” a crossover track?
A. Not at all; this is a song that is in my lane. A type of song I would like to put more of out.
Q. 4. What continues to motivate you as an artist to keep your own identity and style, without falling into the mainstream?
A. Persistence, consistence, and faith. Those are the three words I live by, and you have to in this industry. Being true to your self is what allows people to take a sincere interest in you.
Q. 5. What’s the symbolism behind your motto/logo, "U Knoo'w Movement", progression?
A. It means self-empowerment, the ability to say that you’ve accomplished a goal or conquered adversity as an individual. We all are our own special individual and what we do shouldn’t be duplicated.
